Hard metal sheeting normally comes in 100kg coils and costs thousands of pounds a tonne, so for example, if you need 110kg for a project, you might waste almost 50% of it.
As well, if you’re looking for non-standard tray or panel sizes, or a small quantity for a bespoke extension roof, contractors may even refuse to price, because it simply isn’t worth their while.

My buddy Nolly came round with more toys- this time a Q drum co. stainless steel kit in 24×16 13×9 and 16×16. It sounds absolutely ridiculous as you can hear from Nolly’s mix of the jam I had. We also used the Gretsch Bell Brass 14×6.5 again. It was pretty fun to scale back to 2 toms, and it made me play very differently. It ‘felt’ vintage but also P.A.F.
