  • This is a blade I feel like I can be proud to own. This one obliviously rises above the the other swords I have. The saya is by far the coolest color I have seen on a saya yet, love it! A very cool Hamon on tha blade too!
Truly this is my best blade now, It is very nice. I can actually feel the difference in material and quality. If you do not believe me, make sure to try out HSTS blades @

    hsts.weebly.com/

This steel is so OBVIOUSLY better than the other 1060 and 1095/T10 steel in the other blades I have. It even has a different sound to it (If you have different types of swords you probably know what I mean?)
This is the American 1095 spring steel beater, but this is not beater to me! I LOVE it.
Now I am SO much more exited for my upgraded HSTS RK(?) to be on my rack.
Ricky, if you are reading this, I truly love it, thanks so much for making a superior tool at a super low price!
BTW Ricky told me that he can do Nagimaki too, so after my other HSTS blade gets here, I may be the proud owner of a custom HSTS Nagimaki! We will see what happens with that, I still have to learn more about Nagimaki to make specifications.

When you go to buy metal for welding you have several different options.

You’ve got angle iron, flat bar, round and square tubing, round bar, square bar, and more.

All shapes and sizes of metal are useful, but if you’re getting structural it’s nice to use and iron and tubing due to the strength.

When I’m teaching beginners to weld I typically tell them to stick with a thickness of 1/16″ to start with.

This gives them enough metal thickness so they aren’t going to burn through.
