In this video EA Services, Inc. shows how a corroded 6″ Carbon Steel pipe is being lined by a (SIPP) Sprayed-In-Place Pipe robotics with StructurLine SS at 6 mm liner thickness.
As seen clearly, the corrosion in the pipe’s wall is removed by the StructrLine SS polyurea being cast off of the inverted dissipation device on the front of the robot which in turn builds the liner system as the robot traverses reversely out of the pipe.
The camera is a forward looking camera mounted near the front of the robot. The slow motion segments of the video with the red circle shows .375″ perforations in the pipe being completely filled with the liner material as the pipe is lined.
You may note that this is one of the advantages of our system that the substrate does not require extensive cleaning (hence the significant corrosion we are lining over) and our process still achieves a tenacious bond as well as being a self supporting liner system.
