What you will see in this episode:
Stainless Steel (Part 1) showed you the basics of TIG Welding Stainless. Now, you can take your knowledge one step further as Mr. TIG simulates the welding of Stainless Steel headers and other components found in exhaust systems. He also talks about how to choose the right Stainless for your application, which filler material to use, and why it is important to have good gas coverage (on both the front and back of the weld)

    The Setup:

Wyatt starts off by going over some basics on material selection for headers and exhaust systems. He talks about the use of 304L on many day to day stainless exhausts and headers. He then talks about why you want to upgrade to 321 Stainless in applications where you will be using it for several hundred miles at high temperatures (racing temperatures).

After talking about the materials that he is using in the application, Wyatt goes into how to purge the weld with inexpensive materials to get the best possible results.

    The Welding:
After purging the tubing, Wyatt welds up half of the application. In order to show you how important it is to get good gas coverage, he does not purge the backside for the second half of the weld. After both welds are finished (purged and un-purged) we take the sample to the lab, cut it in half, and by the miracle of TV magic you can see a cross section of the purged vs. un-purged Stainless!

Bonus Footage – Cleaning the Weld Electronically:

Capital Weld Cleaners provided us with an electronic weld cleaner to test out on our Stainless Tubing. You will see just how easy it is to clean your Stainless welds in to time.

here in this lecture we will be learning in detail steel calculation for RCC slabs. and this quit simple. we will just calculate length of all steel bars and then the weight is simple using formula.
    thanks for watching.
