I’ve upgraded to steel guide rods on all of my pistols and increased spring strength on 2 of them and wanted to discuss real quick my experiences with the upgrade and if it worthwhile to help your reliability and recoil of your handgun. I upgraded my Glock to a brasstacker guide rod, and the lc9 and sd40ve both have a new guide rod with upgraded spring. I also changed the spring on the walther p22 to a captive spring. Not a bad inexpensive upgrade for your budget shooter
