This is a video of myself hardening Le Frog’s front drive shaft I machined up two weeks ago. I am using EN8 steel, which is at the very limit of being able to harden. Fortunately I only want it a little bit harder than normal.

Here we milled a Cr12MoV(D2) steel mold for a test demo. We used a 8mm ball end carbide mill tool for both rough and finishing mill. And used a 0.3mm flat end carving tool to carve the words. Linux CNC and MESA card worked very well with our machine
