    For times when special or intermediate systems are not required, ordinary steel moment frames or braced frames are often an economical solution. Limited inelastic behavior is expected in ordinary steel systems and they are designed for higher seismic forces when compared to special, higher ductility systems. Due to this expected behavior, the heights of the ordinary systems are generally limited to 35 ft. or for single story structures up to about 60 ft. Even with these limitations, many projects in high-seismic areas can be designed using ordinary systems, avoiding the rigorous detailing and analysis requirements required for special and intermediate steel systems.
    The seminar discusses ordinary moment frame (OMF) and ordinary concentrically braced frame (OCBF) steel systems based on ASCE 7-10 and the AISC Seismic Provisions (AISC 341-10) requirements including:
    • ASCE 7 height limitations for ordinary steel systems including how to apply the exceptions to Table 12.2-1
    • AISC Seismic Provisions that apply to all ordinary systems including the required axial strength of columns and slenderness ratio limitations
    • Ordinary Moment Frame provisions including required strength and detailing requirements for the moment connections
    • Ordinary Concentrically Braced Frame provisions including how to determine the required strength of brace connections and special requirements for V- or Inverted V– configurations
    • Brief discussion of Ordinary Cantilever Column Systems
    The seminar also includes two brief examples. The first example demonstrates the analysis of an Ordinary Braced Frame System to determine required strengths. The second example illustrates the required strength and detailing requirements for a fully-restrained Ordinary Moment Frame connection.

    https://industryvalves.com/ball-valves.html China ball valve manufacturer, stainless steel ball valve,Kerui Valve;
    1. Ball valves are durable and usually work to achieve perfect shutoff even after years of disuse. They are therefore an excellent choice for shutoff applications (and are often preferred to globe valves and gate valves for this purpose).
    2. Spherical valves are used extensively in industrial applications because they are very versatile, supporting pressures up to 1000 bar and temperatures up to 482°F (250°C).
    3. Ball valves are easy to repair and operate. The body of valves is often made of metal, plastic or metal with a ceramic center. The ball is often chrome plated to make it more durable.
    4. Adopting polytetrafluoroethylene that is of excellent self-lubrication, the ball of the spherical valve is low in friction loss coefficient, good in performance and excellent in sealing property.
    5. Our sealing materials all adopt standard PTFE and PPL, carbon fiber, etc. And they are formed and cooled under high-temperature pressing, then processed by digital controlled lathe. In thus way, the sealing performance and wear resistance is guaranteed, leading a longer service life of ball valve.
