GMAW welding simulation of a S355J2G3 steel. 6mm thick plates, average welding speed 6.3mm/s, heat input rate 673J/mm. Showed temperature distribution results (degrees Celsius) during the welding process. Used software: modeled in Catia V5R16, meshed in Visual-Mesh, welding parameters set in Visual-Weld, solved with Sysweld/Systus, results shown in Visual-Viewer.
